Sustainable Energy for Masjids

Power our Places of Worship

Masjids in Tarim are switching to solar power — panels and battery storage so the lights, fans and adhan stay on without depending on an unreliable grid. Contribute towards a solar panel or a battery, and help keep the house of Allah running.

The Need

Light Should Not Depend on a Grid

In Tarim, the masjids that anchor daily life were never built with reliable electricity in mind.

Power cuts are frequent, and the fuel to run generators has become expensive for communities who have little. When the lights go out, the Qur'an class pauses, the microphones fall silent, and the ceiling fans stop in the heat.

Solar power changes this — quietly, and for years. A single installation keeps the lights, speakers and fans running through the night and the hottest hours, without depending on a grid that often fails. After the panels are up, the running cost falls to almost nothing — a gift that keeps working long after it is given.

A Gift That Keeps Working

To power a place of worship is a form of lasting charity. The lights that switch on for Fajr, the speaker that carries the adhan, the fan that cools a worshipper in summer — every act that runs on that power carries a share of reward back to the one who gave, for as long as the building stands and the sun rises.

Give generously. Give quietly. Help keep the houses of Allah running.
