A Family Held in Honour
Love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ includes love, honour and concern for his family.
Yemen is home to long-established communities from the Ahl al-Bayt — the family and descendants of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
After years of conflict and economic hardship, many of these families are living in severe financial difficulty and struggle to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, healthcare and household expenses.
For many members of the Ahl al-Bayt, there is an additional difficulty: according to the established traditional ruling, they do not receive obligatory Zakat. This makes voluntary Sadaqah, gifts and general donations especially important in supporting families in need.
A Trusted Network, Not a Public List
This is not an open or newly created list of beneficiaries. For over ten years, trusted people within the local community have helped us quietly identify families genuinely in need.
Often, we learn of a struggling household not from the family themselves, but through a concerned neighbour, relative or trusted member of their community — so assistance can be offered discreetly, preserving dignity and privacy.
We do not wish to publicise the faces, names or personal circumstances of the families we support. Their dignity comes before our publicity.
